Yeap! We planned our own wedding! More or less.

Under the beautiful Takitimu Mountains, in the old Beck Family barn, we said I Do. We learned so much with planning our own wedding, and not all of it good. But with that experience we now have a much better understanding of how everything works, and wisdom to share.

After a partial collapse in the barn, we set to work on fixing her up to her former glory, even with a little help from our almost 2 year old son. The ceremony was held in the freshly rebuilt section, with the reception in a marquee by the house.

Even with the amount of work we put into our day, not everything went quite as planned; I ended up walking down the isle to no music, which in the mess of things to do I had forgotten to pay for the streaming service: The Guest book and wishing well hadn't been put out; And sadly I didn't have the best Photographer, I was very lucky to have my sister and bestie with their cameras help capture some of the best photos of the night.

With all that, I did learn a few lessons; Lessons I will be bringing into my own business.

We poured our blood sweat and tears into our wedding, doing as much as we could ourselves. I am so thankful to everyone that helped us pull it all together.
